Is grout waterproof?
Cement grout is water-resistant but not fully waterproof; epoxy grout offers higher resistance. Sealing cement grout helps maintenance.
What joint width should I use?
Rectified tiles typically 2–3 mm; non-rectified 3–5 mm. Always align with BS 5385 and your tile spec.
Do I need to seal grout?
