Delft White Naarden 127x127mm | English Delft Tile
02 Oct 26Delft White Laren 127x127mm | English Delft Tile
£21.91 (per box)
What does Delft White Laren look like when laid?
Laren is designed around its corners rather than a large central motif. Each 127 x 127mm tile has a small detail at the four corners. When several tiles are fitted together, those details sit beside one another and form a subtle repeated pattern across the wall.
You can use Laren on its own if you want a lightly decorated blue-and-white wall, or combine it with plain tiles from the English Delft collection to vary the amount of pattern.
Where can Laren be used?
- Kitchen splashbacks
- Bathroom walls
- Shower and wet-area walls when correctly installed
- Cloakrooms and utility rooms
- Decorative wall panels and feature areas
Laren is an interior wall tile. It is suitable for both dry and wet walls, but it is not designed for floors or external areas.

Laren or plain Delft White?
Choose Laren when you want the wall to have a decorative detail throughout. Because the pattern is concentrated in the corners, it doesn’t look very busy when used across a larger area.
Choose the plain Delft White tile when you want an uninterrupted white background, or use the two together to control how much decoration appears in the finished layout.
Hand-painted character
Laren has a hand-painted surface finish and rustic edge, so small differences between individual tiles are part of the appearance rather than something every piece is intended to match exactly.
Part of the English Delft collection
Laren is part of the wider English Delft collection of blue-and-white decorative ceramic wall tiles. You can keep the scheme subtle with lightly decorated and plain pieces, or introduce stronger Delft designs in selected areas.
Can Delft White Laren be used on its own?
Yes. The small blue corner details create a light repeated pattern when several tiles are used together, so it can work across a complete splashback or wall section.
Is Laren suitable for a kitchen splashback?
Yes. It is a ceramic wall tile suitable for interior wet and dry wall areas, making it suitable for kitchen splashbacks when correctly installed.
Can Delft White Laren be used in a shower?
Yes. The manufacturer’s specification lists it as suitable for wet walls. The wall should still be correctly prepared and waterproofed where required before tiling.
Can Laren be used on floors?
No. Delft White Laren is a wall tile and is not rated for dry or wet floor use.
How many Delft White Laren tiles are needed per square metre?
The manufacturer’s specification is approximately 56 tiles per square metre. Allow additional tiles for cuts, breakages and future repairs depending on the layout and installation.
Can I order a sample?
Yes. A sample is the best way to judge the white glaze, blue detail and natural variation in your own room and lighting.
