Did you know that natural stone has been used for hundreds of years already and one of its best qualities is that no two stones are the same. Natural stone will maintain its natural beauty for many years when correctly looked after and even more as a long-term investment it is very likely that stone will increase the value of your property.                        

Limestone, travertine, slate, basalt, marble and terracotta are the natural stones that we have to offer. What those types of stone have in common is that they are all made in nature, each tile is differently patterned and their colour varies which makes the product full of character and interest.

Natural Stone is one of the most beautiful materials on the market. In order to maintain its beauty, caring for natural stone tiles is not difficult, but has a very important role to play.

Limestone and Terracotta – best to avoid contact with water for longer periods of time, can be treated with oils for different effects, should be cleaned, sealed and resealed regularly.

Travertine – pinholes may appear on the surface of the stone that can be filled with grout or resin, cleaned and sealed regularly.

Basalt, Slate and Marble –  it is recommended that those tiles are cleaned well before installation to help maintain the beauty of the natural stone. Just like all natural stone products Basalt, Marble and Slate should be sealed and resealed periodically with specially designed products.
