About Marlborough Terracotta Rosette
Marlborough Terracotta Rosette by Ca’ Pietra uses two interlocking shapes to create a repeating pattern. Warm red clay tones and a handmade finish give the floor variation, while the shaped edges make the grout part of the design.
This real terracotta tile needs sealing, so consider the finished appearance and care requirements alongside the pattern.

Planning the finished floor
- Look at the repeat: a sample helps with colour and texture, but a laid-out group shows how the two shapes work together.
- Consider the grout: its colour and joint width affect how strongly the pattern stands out. Agree these with your tiler before fitting.
- Allow for floor height: the tiles are 20 mm thick before adhesive and any floor preparation. Check door clearances and adjoining floors.
- Plan the finish: discuss the sealing system before installation and test the proposed finish on a spare piece.

Yes. Follow Ca’ Pietra’s current Marlborough Terracotta installation and finishing guidance. Agree on the finish with your tiler before work starts.
Can I use it outside?
Ca’ Pietra lists Rosette for indoor floors. Choose a product specifically approved for exterior use for a patio or exposed entrance.
Will one sample show the whole pattern?
The design uses two interlocking shapes. Ask what the sample includes, and look at a photograph of the repeated layout and the individual pieces.
