Three ways to choose your Spring tiles
Start with the amount of pattern you want. Use a single flower throughout, mix florals with coordinating tiles, or choose April’s repeating corner decoration.
Give the flowers some space
Spring May adds green corner leaves between the floral designs. Spring White is the plain coordinating tile, useful around a feature panel or across a larger wall.
Pick an April colour
April’s corner decoration forms a repeating pattern as the tiles meet. Compare Cornflower, Blush, Rose and Primrose alongside your paint, furniture and worktop.
Plan the wall, then the order
Make the pattern work in your room
For a kitchen splashback, decide where you want the decoration before choosing quantities. Check how sockets, windows and corners affect the layout. A small floral panel can sit within plain tiles, while a longer run gives you room to space flowers between May tiles.
Above a bathroom basin, a smaller tiled area can introduce colour without covering every wall. Compare samples beside your taps, furniture and paint in the room’s own light.
Lay several tiles on a flat surface before fixing. Check the direction of corner details and photograph your arrangement for the installer. A single tile shows the motif; a group shows the pattern.

Spring tiles: your questions answered
What size are Spring tiles, and how many come in a pack?
The checked manufacturer specifications for Alice, May, April Cornflower and White list 130 × 130 × 10mm and 59 tiles per square metre. Alice is listed in packs of two; May, April Cornflower and White are listed in sixes. Always check the selected product’s specification and selling unit.
How do I calculate quantities for a mixed layout?
Count each design separately, add the allowance agreed with your installer and round each up to its pack quantity. For example, 12 Alice tiles and 24 May tiles would use six packs of Alice and four packs of May before cuts or spares. This is a pack-count example, not a recommended design ratio.
A field tile is the tile used across the main wall area, with or without decorative pieces. Including enough coordinating field tiles is as important as counting the flowers.
Can I mix Alice, Emma, Elsie and Lucie?
Yes. These floral designs are intended to work together with coordinating Spring May. Spring White offers a plain option. Plan the placement of the decorated tiles before ordering.
Are Spring tiles hand-painted?
The decorative designs begin as hand-painted artwork and are reproduced using digital printing at Original Style’s Devon factory. The painterly appearance does not mean each finished tile is individually hand-painted.
Can I use Spring tiles on shower walls?
The checked manufacturer listings for Alice, May, April Cornflower and White include wet-wall suitability. Confirm the selected product and installation requirements with your installer, including waterproofing, adhesive and grout. These are wall tiles; do not select them for a shower floor.
What is the difference between Spring May and Spring April?
May uses green leaf corner details to coordinate with the named florals. April has its own corner decoration in Cornflower, Blush, Rose and Primrose. Lay out several tiles to compare how their patterns repeat.
