Flooring Collections — FAQs
What’s the difference between SPC and LVT?
SPC (stone-plastic composite) is rigid, waterproof and click-fit with excellent dent resistance. LVT is flexible, warm and quiet underfoot, typically glued down or click-fit depending on the range.
Are Victorian floor tile collections suitable for outdoors?
Yes — choose porcelain options with the right slip rating and frost resistance. We also offer 20mm outdoor porcelain for patios and steps.
Which slip rating should I pick for kitchens or porches?
Many domestic kitchens are fine with R10; porches and external steps often benefit from R11. Always check the product’s datasheet.
Can I use these floors with underfloor heating?
Most porcelain, SPC and LVT ranges are UFH-compatible. Follow the stated temperature limits and commissioning steps.
Do rectified edges matter?
Rectified tiles allow tighter grout joints and a sharper look — ideal for stone-effect and large formats.
How many samples should I order?
Order at least two to three samples to compare shade, texture and lighting. For patterned/Victorian sets, include a border/corner sample too.
