Why Choose Mosaic Tiles?
- Great grip from extra grout joints — ideal for wet areas and walk-in showers.
- Flexible sheets follow falls and curves for neat detailing.
- Small format, big impact — texture and pattern without overpowering a space.
- Choice of materials and finishes to match walls, floors and splashbacks.
Where Mosaic Tiles Work Best
- Bathrooms & wet-rooms (check PTV/R rating on floor mosaics)
- Kitchen splashbacks and cooker surrounds
- Feature walls, niches and borders
- Floors with falls to drains; around shower trays
How to Cut, Apply & Grout Mosaic Sheets
- Plan the layout; dry-lay sheets and check alignment.
- Use a suitable adhesive and a small notched trowel.
- Press sheets with a grout float to keep faces level.
- Trim on the mesh with a sharp knife; use nippers or a wet saw for neat cuts.
- Leave uniform joints; use spacers if needed.
- Grout once set; choose non-sand grout for polished glass.
- For floors, target PTV 36+ where slip resistance matters.

FAQs
How do you cut mosaic tiles cleanly?
Score and snap straights on a manual cutter or wet saw; use tile nippers for small trims. Trim sheets on the mesh with a sharp knife.
Can mosaic sheets go on floors?
Yes, where they are rated for floors. Check thickness and PTV/R slip rating. For wet areas we recommend PTV 36+.
What grout should I use for glass mosaics?
Use a non-sand grout to avoid scratching polished glass; pick a colour that complements the tile tone.
Are mosaics good for wet-rooms?
Yes. The extra grout joints help with grip and the sheet format follows falls to drains. Choose a suitable slip rating.
Mesh-backed vs loose tesserae — which is best?
Mesh-backed sheets are faster to fit and keep spacing consistent. Align sheets carefully to hide the joins.
